Prima & Prima II, 2025 and 2026

Sourcing the Tiffany & Co. archives Prima and Prima II rework a 19th century pattern for silver engraving. Commissioned by architect Peter Marino for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Box Cafe in Mexico City as well as the South Coast Plaza Tiffany & Co Blue Box Cafe in Orange County CA. PRIMA is comprised of 48 hand cast and hand painted porcelain triangular tiles with 22k gold luster. The work employs the lenticular style of the porcelain tiles to create a repeat pattern when viewed from the right and a field of custom developed Tiffany Blue glaze when seen from the left.

Materials: Hand cast porcelain tiles with hand painted glaze and underglaze and 24 karat gold luster
