Using ceramic surfaces as both her canvas and subject matter,TRIBUTE I & II are hand-painted wall installations historically-inspired celebrations of the Chinese export porcelain of the 18th century.
With 40 hand painted and gold lustered earthenware plates, TRIBUTE I and II illuminate and pay homage to the Ginger Jar. Each represent a collage of motifs creating a rendering of Ginger Jars that never were actually realized. Portraits of Chinese export motifs and Dutch Delft interpretations of export wares. Debuted at Bergdorfs in the spring of 2026 as the first in a rare edition of ten hand painted compositions. The glazed surfaces of the 8” diameter plates collectively becomes a fragmented canvas for a delicate, painterly re-rendering of a blue and white lidded jar.
